Kochi, a historical commercial hub, saw a rising demand for higher education with the advent of universal education and numerous high schools. To address this need, the Kochi Municipality and the Indian Chamber of Commerce founded The Cochin College through The Cochin Education Society. Today, The Cochin College embodies the educational aspirations of Kochi's citizens.
