The objective of the session was to introduce students to the fundamentals of airline and airport management, including airport operations, aviation career opportunities, and customer service standards. It aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the aviation industry and equip them with insights into professional roles within this growing sector.

The Department of Commerce (SF) and the Department of Business Administration jointly organized a session on “Airline and Airport Management” on June 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Vedanta Hall. The resource persons, Ms. Anju Nair and Mr. Anoop Arjunan from Airportverse, engaged students with informative discussions about airline operations, airport safety procedures, and aviation management systems. The session also covered job opportunities in the aviation sector and the skills required for employability.

Students gained an understanding of the various functional areas of airline and airport operations, career paths in the aviation industry, and essential communication and management skills needed for success in this field. The session was highly informative and interactive.
