To enhance financial literacy and provide practical knowledge of investment concepts, financial markets, and portfolio management. To promote informed and responsible investing by familiarizing participants with SEBI and NISM guidelines and ethical investment practices.

The Department of Commerce (SF), in association with the Financial Literacy Club, organized a Certificate Course in Investment Management, sponsored by the National Institute of Securities Market (NISM).

The sessions were led by Dr. Liance Mathew, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, and SEBI & NISM Trainer.

The two-day program, held on 10th and 11th July 2025 at Vedanta Hall, provided participants with hands-on exposure to the fundamentals of investment planning, stock market operations, mutual funds, and portfolio diversification strategies.

Through interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and case discussions, the course aimed to empower students with essential knowledge and confidence to navigate modern financial markets responsibly.
