Dr. Zafna Rasheed joined The Cochin College as Assistant Professor in Chemistry on 06-08-2014. Completed PhD in Analytical Chemistry from CUSAT. Areas of research includes Development of Chemical sensors – Electrochemical sensors and Fluorescent sensors. Completed graduation in Chemistry from The Cochin college in the year 2003. Took post-graduation from Sacred Heart College, Thevara and BEd from St. Joseph’s College for Teacher education, Ernakulam. Completed Mphil in Chemistry from CUSAT in the year 2008. Qualified UGC/JRF in 2009. Joined Indian Postal Service as Postal Assistant in the year 2010. Later in 2012 joined as Scientific Officer at Forensic Science Laboratory, Department of Police, Kerala. Due to the passion in teaching profession relieved from the post of Scientific Officer and joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry of the Cochin College
