Bsc Physics

Being a pure science under-graduate course, B.Sc. in Physics offers vast range of higher education areas and specializations. Index mark is calculated as per the following formula:
Index=Total mark+Mark in Physics+Bonus−Handicap
Bonus=NSS(15)+NCC(15)+NCC A cert(3)+NCC B|C cert(5)+Ex-service man(15)
Handicap=5 mark each for every additional attempt in plus two papers

 

COURSE OUTCOME


 

CO1 -An introduction to the pursuit of Physics,its history and methodology. Emphasis izes the importance of measurement.

CO2- To empower the students to acquire engineering skills and practical knowledge,which help the students in their everyday life. Caters to the basic requirements for higher studies and provide a theoretical basis for doing experiments

CO3 -Provides foundation in electricity and electrodynamics

CO4 Provides basis regarding Physical principles and application of Electronics.

CO5- Prelude to advanced theoretical studies in Condensed Matter Physics,Spectroscopy, Astrophysics , Electrodynamics and Nuclear physics.

CO6- Provides necessary foundation in Optics and Photonics

CO7-To develop working knowledge of Statistical Mechanics and apply it to related topics in Material sciences and Physics of Condensed matter

CO8- To provide necessary background for application of Electronics in mathematical computation

CO9- Open Course -Creates awareness about the need of energy conservation and environmental protection

CO10- Provides insight to computer hardware and computer applications

CO11- Basics of nucleus and nucleon interaction

CO12 -Introduces to the principles of spectroscopy and special theory of relativity

C013- Introduces to the latest field of light wave technology

CO14 -Provides basis for higher studies

CO15- Introduces to basic Electronics

CO16- Basic ideas of Power Electronics and amplifiers

CO17- Introduces to the technique of IC fabrication ,Principles of OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS AND Electronic communication
