  • The academic year 2021-22 presented the institution once again with the new normal of teaching- learning experiences. Albeit one born out of necessity in 2020,the pandemic opened up possibilities for novel opportunities and educational trends. It brought to the fore the need for a hybrid mode of learning to ensure continuation of education. The college initiated all possible steps to make sure that the transition is a smooth one for the students and faculty as well. The unique needs of the students were addressed and supportive measures taken. Management of anxiety level among the young minds and nurturing their enthusiasm paved way for out-of- the-box innovative thinking and developing life skills.

    The college focused on digital inclusivity transforming the teacher into a facilitator by ensuring that all the students get access to key learning experiences and nurture their shelved potentials.

    The digital tools provided ideal platforms for students to channel their creative outbursts and lend expression to their thoughts and views. Teachers have been relentlessly organizing and conducting webinars and workshops as well as attending online courses and Faculty Development Programmes to accommodate and update their repertoire of skills to the changing times. Blended learning has enabled paperless interactions, flexibility, improved accessibility, inclusion and participatory pedagogy. With cautious optimism, switching from online to offline mode of learning has brought back the vibrancy of campus life, with strict adherence to Covid protocol.

    It was admirable to witness the unwavering support, resilience, and kindness that the entire college community has shown one another. The tenacity and determination to keep learning and moving forward displayed by our students, in particular, was palpable and invigorating. Unexpected benefits of remote learning that included unique opportunities and alternatives led to greater appreciation of life and nature. New ways to connect and mobilize knowledge has been the key focus of the institution and a need to cater to and equip the students for a post-vaccine world has been given prime importance.
