Manager's Desk

The Cochin College established in 1967, by the Cochin Educational Society is one of the iconic institutions in West Kochi. The path traversed by our predecessors leaves a trail of precedents and conventions to follow. The college which started with a meagre number of 240 students has grown in stature offering 13 Undergraduate courses, 6 Postgraduate courses, and has 2 research centres. The College fosters a rational, democratic, eclectic and secular mind set in the students. Performing arts and sports have been given equal importance along with academic curriculum. The Cochin College campus has always been abuzz with a plethora of activities and has become a dynamic venue where brilliant minds from diverse disciplines converge and share their vast reserves of knowledge and skills. The college has always upheld the values of equity and diversity and has successfully been able to meet the demands of a blended mode of learning during the pandemic crisis, all thanks to the group of committed teachers going beyond the call of duty to meet the deadlines, students who have learned to unmute themselves, open up and adapt to the new and viable modes of learning and a cooperative team of support staff who provide all the required assistance and conducive environment for the right teaching learning experience.
